The Leopard

Alex Campbell
Alex Campbell is 15, and was born in Salt Lake City in 2003. He is attending East High School as a sophomore for the 2018-2019 school year, for the graduating class of 2021. He moved to California and Oregon for a year and a half each, moving back to Utah in mid-to-late 2012 to be adopted by his aunt. He is a coxswain for Utah Crew, and is looking forward to winning in San Diego, California, in November with his team.

He has two mothers, one a contractor, the other an aesthetician, as well as four siblings. He has one sister, three brothers, and is the oldest among them. In his spare time, he also likes to work on cars and do metal machining. His favorite class is Intro to Automotive, and he owns a 1975 ford truck in California, where it stays with his grandparents. He also loves to listen to music. He has a dog, a goldendoodle named Koa, as well as a cat named Annabelle. He is also known for his ability to take a joke, for his years of self-deprecating humor.

His future goals are to enlist into the Air Force as a mechanic, and afterwards attend college and finish with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. His ultimate goal in Crew Rowing would be to attend the Henley Royal regatta.  This quarter he will be an opinion writer, because he has always wanted to be one to report on situations in the world, and be able to state his opinion on them, and is interested in journalism in order to learn better writing skills and how to write longer pieces on any subject.
