As the school year comes to a close, many students will revel in the thoughts of the freedoms of summer. However, the fun school-time activities do not end. June 1, East High coordinators and members of student senate have put together a luau. There will be free pineapple Dole Whip and spam musubi, which is a slice of grilled Spam on top of a block of rice, wrapped together with nori in the tradition of Japanese omusubi, for only three dollars. The luau will be from 7 to 8 p.m. and afterwards, from 8 to 10, East High will host a stomp. All Leopards are welcome, however make sure to bring your school ID to be admitted. Dress code is casual. Here’s to another year of excellence, East High!
